Every day when I wake up, I am reminded that I am human
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded of the pain it implies to be human
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded that I am part of a generation of other human beings as myself, who are also struggling with the same feelings of pain and despair
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded that I am part of a "desperate youth" that is also looking for answers, hope, and flavour in their lives
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded that, as humans, we need hope to go on
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded of the importance of keeping dreams alive
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded that we need to push, to keep fighting despite "the falling sky and the rain"
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded that all the pressures we are facing are just making us stronger
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded of the huge potential of this new generation
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded that if we work hard to pursue our dreams, we will be able to make big achievements in life
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded that we have the power to change things in our society - we can change the world!
Every day when I wake up, I am reminded that this new generation is rising against the odds, and won't stop fighting until we see our dreams come true
Every day I wake up with a big smile on my face as I am reminded that there is hope for our world, because WE'RE AWAKENING!




PS: This entry makes reference to the song Awakening, by Switchfoot, which is the tune I have set in my cellphone as the alarm to wake up.
